British Hair Awards 2016 Finalist « Breaks The Internet » with Afro collection
Lisa Farrall, whose work « broke the internet » last week with her mind blowing creations, is the British Hair Afro hairdresser of 2016 and showcased her finalist collection titled ‘ARMOUR’.
The collection paid homage to African culture and the diaspora with a futuristic feel and merged tribal elements with literal #BlackGirlMagic dripping from every image. Photographed by Luke Nugent, the collection boasted just how awesome and versatile black hair is.
The artist described on her Instagram page what this collection meant to her saying « This collection is about embracing women and empowering women. Highlighting the beauty and strength of the female form and knowing with great hair we can conquer the world. embrace who you are, embrace your hair. Be unique. Be beautiful. Be you. »
