Although Senanu Arkutu was born in Dar es Salaam to Ghanaian parents, she grew up in Swaziland, Nigeria and Zimbabwe. Arkutu always wanted to express herself in a more artistic and colorful way. DAAR Living, her African-inspired interior styling brand, was born in 2013 for those who live not only in Africa, but also beyond. DAAR Living transcends your average interior styling service. The pieces come from all over Africa and some are designed in-house and crafted by a team of passionate Ghanaian craftsmen.
