Today, we wanted to celebrate these 12 #GirlBosses who are making moves in their industry. Hailing from all around the African continent and based all around the world, we’re giving a nod to these women whose ambition and drive we admire. Here’s to you #GirlBosses!
1. Kristina Gisors @kristinagisors
Parisian beauty Kristina Gisors, is a bilingual #GirlBoss who is one of the staples at Paris Fashion Week and has worked as a dresser for big names such as Jean-Paul Gaultier, contributed as a writer to Modzik Magazine and as a stylist for magazines such as Lurve, WAD, and Esquire. She now works as a Visual Merchandiser for the brand Kenzo. This #GirLBoss has also worked for brands like COS and American Vintage Group so it’s safe to say that she knows what it takes to be the best in what you do!
2. Siki Msuseni @sikimsuseni
The Interior Architecture student and fashion enthusiast who’s based in Cape Town is the #GirlBoss behind the « controversial » tote bags with the slogan « Who Killed Biko », a powerful question to the 11th September 1977 brutal death of Steve Biko. 3. Jaqueline Ngo Mpii @yaquimpii
This #GirlBoos is the founder of Little Africa, the first Parisian Cultural and Touristic agency promoting Art & Culture from Africa. She also just recently released a City Cuide titled « City Guide of Africa in Paris » which gives readers a look into the « African side of Paris » with tips on checking out the latest art exhibitions, food and places to experience Africa while visiting the city of lights. 4. Miss Kihoro @misskihoro
This #GirlBoss gives us serious travel envy and her list of achievements are nothing but extraordinary. The Singer, Actor, Radio Person and self proclaimed « Good Vibe Explorer » is building her brand and not slowly down either having written, directed and produced her own stage show, “Life in the Single Lane”, a narrative involving interactive storytelling, acting and singing. 5. Violette Tannenbaum @violettetannenbaum
This talented wedding dress designer lives and works in Paris and her design aesthetic is what dreams are made of. This UK born, Nigerian raised, Fashion and digital influencer #Girlboss who previously worked as Head of PR at River Island and Boohoo.com, knows what she wants and certainly goes out and gets it! This badass beauty is a force to be reckoned with and has worked with the likes of Rihanna, Lily Allen and Henry Holland (not to mention having styled Alek Wek & Liya Kebede)! 8. Mandi Sarro @missmandii

Stylist, Youth & Trends Expert, Fashion & Creative Director are some of the few things this #GirlBoss calls herself. This ultimate babe has produced work for titles such as Dazed and Confused, Wound and Vanity Fair and also had a three-year stint as fashion editor for Marie Claire South Africa. Can we say goals!
10. Floriane Fosso @florianefosso
This 25 year old French-Cameroonian #GirlBoss who founded her eponymous brand recently launched her first high-end, ready-to-wear collection ‘From Paris to’. Floriane went to EMLYON Business School at 20, became a freelance stylist in 2011 (prior to working at Michael Kors in New York), studied at the London Fashion School of Central St Martins (where more sewing lessons ensued) and finally landed in Shanghai, where she worked for JC Decaux as a luxury advisor. With so much drive and ambition, it’s no wonder this #GirlBoss is taking the fashion world by storm.

Known for her eclectic and to die for style, brands like Levi’s, Carhartt and Nike approach her to wear their products.
